What number are you trying for? 3 (first two are adopted)

Month/Cycle? 1 with adopted embryos

WTO/TWW? TWW

Ages of other child(ren)? 5 and 7

Any thoughts about this cycle? I’m SS like crazy the last few days so of course I’m convinced the transfer was successful, but I haven’t tested yet and I’m trying not to.

Rant/Rave? I just finished reading The Anxious Generation and it made me really glad most of our family friends are committed to not giving smartphones to our kids before high school. 

GTKY: Do you have a favorite book you read with your kid(s)? Idk if I have one favorite. The first one I thought of was Not Quite Narwhal by Jessie Sima. I like reading that one, though it’s been a while since I read it to them since they are not as interested in picture books anymore

Any thoughts about this cycle? This cycle was very weird on timing so we might have missed it. We'll be traveling again soon but I'm going to try while we're gone anyways. We'll see how the next cycle timing works out.

GTKY: Do you have a favorite book you read with your kid(s)?
We have a picture book called something like Mama loves you in Spanish and it's very sweet. He gives the animals in the pictures kisses most of the time when we read it, it's adorable.

Any thoughts about this cycle? lol. Many. I got crosshairs, on the day I thought I O’d. But then they disappeared. But FF is still saying period expected tomorrow. At this point it’s anybody’s guess.

Rant/Rave? My parents have run into a life snag. And it’s causing lots of feelings, like maybe we shouldn’t be TTC right now. But also. They are adults and this is our life and at 37 the window in which I am comfortable to have a third is closing. 

Also my littlest decided to cut like all her hair off for school and it’s freaking adorable! It was down to her butt and she basically went pixie cut. (I try to give them autonomy with their hair as much as possible) My MIL told her to her face she hated it. DH and I were pissed, but this kid unapologetically told her it was her pick and she loves it.
