Unsure if pregnant with multiples

I am 28 and had my first and only at 22 so it's been a minute but my menstrual is always the same and never varies past 36 days it may come sooner than that cycle but never past. I have been experience cramping, headaches, and some slight nausea more so these past two days. I am currently 8 days late and have taken three pregnancy tests on day 3 and 5 and day 8 with all negative results....We do have multiples on both sides in previous generations on my side and my dear husband's mom was a twin. I'm technically in line to be the generation to have twins. Curious if others who have had multiples if this happened. If it carries on to two weeks of late menstrual I plan to go to the doctor for a blood test. Thanks in advance!!

Well if you're over a week late and have had multiple negative tests either you aren't pregnant or you miscalculated your ovulation and are actually testing too early. But if your cycles are regular most likely you're not pregnant and I would definitely get to a doctor to see what's actually going on. As for multiples it's highly highly unlikely you wouldn't test positive 3 and 5 days into expected period and NOT get a positive pregnancy test result since hcg is higher with multiple fetuses/embryos.
