Need some hope and prayers

Did an FET got a negative on an easy @ home cheapie on 6pt5dt (11DPO in non IVF terms) ugly cried all night because most people I read on those boards have seen a faint line by then but people keep telling me it’s too early. Anyone go on to have a positive after a negative at this time?

Re: Need some hope and prayers

  • I have, actually. To the point where I won’t even test unless it’s the day of my period or after, even if it claims to be able to detect early.

  • I tested at 9dpt5dt and saw my positive then.  So you still might have a few days.  This is why they say not to test at home, but I am super guilty of NOT following that advice!  Try not to overthink it too much until your beta, but I know how hard it is.
  • I can't blame for testing earlier than the sched beta. However, this will only results to frustrations and mixed emotions. Tell me if I'm wrong about it. But that is normal. We're super excited mums, right? Fingers crossed for you, dear.
  • After a few early miscarriages my doctor basically ordered me to not take a test until I missed my period. Said there are way to many factors and it ends up making you more stressed by taking them early. That being said I completely understand wanting to take it early and I know it’s so hard to not want to keep checking.
  • Any updates? I’ve done 5 FETs and tested before the beta with all of them — don’t let anyone make you feel bad about it, personally I would much rather know ahead of time if it’s going to be bad news so it’s not a shock when you get the phone call, especially if you have to be at work around other people when you get it. I finally had success on my fifth FET so if this one didn’t work don’t give up hope!
