I had a .7 temp drop this morning. I’m supposedly 1dpo but I’ll still be testing my OPKs. What does this mean? I’m coming off an IUD that I removed in April after under 10 years. Can anyone help me interpret this? This is my first real cycle tracking.
danniesbump It can take months for your body to regulate after coming off of long-term BC. Also, BBT can be a very helpful tool, but one temperature is usually not a be all /end all. BBT is more about the look of your chart overall. So, if you are not familiar with what would be a standard chart for YOU, then you need to wait to see what that would look like before determining if one temperature alone can mean anything for your chart.

@danniesbump When doing BBT, you can confirm O once you have 3 temps higher than the previous 6, so FF won’t give you CH until you are at least 3DPO. Also OPKs tell you that you are ovulating soon, not necessarily the day you get a peak reading. So you’ll probably see a temp shift soon. If you don’t, it could be that your body is still regulating after coming off BC and you might just O later.
