Am I having a failed pregnancy?

My last first day of my mentrual cycle was july 1st. I got positive pregnancy test, then I started bleeding today. Bright red, just as if I started my menstrual cycle. Last night I was having some lower abdominal cramps.

It’s possible it could be a chemical. I have had two that happened within a week of getting positive test (my bleeding got stronger and acted like a normal period just later in my cycle). In my cases I’d already set up appointments so my OB had me take blood tests to confirm. I’m sorry you’re going through this though even if it ends up not being a chemical and progresses it’s still such a stressful thing to happen.
