I failed my first glucose test will need to go back tomorrow

So i failed my first glucose test and will need to take the two hour test tomorrow , i have plan to get it Done at 8:30am about the time i get up.
i was told to start fasting as of midnight , its thursday today and i do a late shift which means when i done at 9:30 i have my dinner at 10 

will that affect my fasting and my glucose test ? 

I really dont want to fail this test again lol

I think they usually say the fasting should be for at least 8 hours, which is also about in line with what they said about midnight, so it seems like you should be ok.

Your doctor said to start fasting at midnight so no dinner at 10 is before midnight
