Today I cried because my local Dunkin’ (closer than my usual Dunkin’) did not have the small Spark’d Energy I wanted and I would have to drive to my usual (in the other direction) if I was going to get it.

Yesterday I cried because my supervisor called me with yet another “special project” and I was so tired my eyes were crossing. Good thing it was over a phone call instead of in person.

Yesterday I cried because I accidently bought cheddar ritz crackers instead of regular ones and didn’t notice until I got them out of the cupboard. Cheddar was not doing it for me.

Yesterday I cried because my forgetfulness is in full effect. I could not find my hair ties that I had just had in my hand 5 mins prior. When my daughter found them, I started to cry because I feel so "blah".

My husband bought me caffeine free Coke Zero and put it in the fridge, so it would be cold when I got home! God the hormones! I am not usually a crier at all!!

The dentist ordered the wrong thing for my Invisalign to be over and I’m SO tired of having to brush my teeth after every time I eat which is averaging every 2 hrs. I’m so upset I was told I’d be done almost a month ago and I’d just have to wear them at night and now I have to wait at least 2 more weeks

Today I cried out of older sister guilt. There’s an 18 year age gap between me and my youngest sister and she is starting to actually feel and act like a “big kid” now at 9 years old, which I got sentimental about. I then got stuck on thinking about how I should have appreciated her little years more and been more patient at certain times. Then I cried because I badly wanted to hug her but she lives 10 hours away. And then I cried because pretty soon she’ll be too old and awkward to hold like she’s little anymore. 

Somehow I feel like this is not going to get any better with my own kid(s), and I’m not even normally a cry-er!! 😂😭

Yesterday I cried because my husband reminded me of something I forgot about, and then I got sad that I’d forgotten about it in the first place.

I cried because my house has tiny piles of mess all over the place. but I have zero will to clean and everything feels like I mess. I bawled to H and my little super feeler DD also started crying. 😭 lmao. We are all good now and DD went on her merry way, but damn I needed that cry.

(Messes really bother H and I and we work hard to keep things generally tidy.  But f*** it today.)

Today I cried because there’s no way I can hide my pregnancy anymore; my belly is tenting a tunic shirt a size too big and I’m only 11 weeks. I’m only keeping anyone from asking with a sweater that I have to take off as soon as I get outside. I’ll have to tell my boss next week (holding out till week 12); not looking forward to the walk over to her building or the conversation, partially because I’m afraid I’ll cry during the meeting.

Today I cried because I watched the movie IF with my sister. It was a super cute movie until the last 15 minutes and my sister looked over at me and said “why do I feel like I’m going to cry?” Then she noticed the tears already streaming down my face 😂 glad i didn’t watch it with my toddler, she would have been a bit confused. Definitely recommend watching though 🤍 it’s a heartwarming movie!

Today I cried because I was supposed to learn the sex of my baby this week but the test was non conclusive. I'm told I will have to wait an extra 5 weeks to find out the sex (until my next ultrasound).

Today I cried because after going through Helene a little over a week ago, we now have another hurricane coming right for us that could reach Cat 5 strength. I’ll have to evacuate and leave my husband here by himself since he can’t leave. Who knows if I will come back to a house. I’m so over hurricane season.

@laj0217 he is a deputy with the sheriffs office here. He's already been pulled in and mandated to work. First responder life. I was a deputy too for ten years, that's how we met but I changed careers not too long ago so I can actually leave for the first time during these situations. I haven't 100% fully decided on evacuating... will wait until tomorrow to make the final decision.

It's been officially upgraded to Cat 5 - wind shear is supposed to weaken it just before landfall but you never know how much. I'm not in a mandatory evac zone, but I can drive to my in-laws in Tallahassee if I need to. I am in the Tampa Bay area so we are quite literally right in its direct path right now.

@cortneylynnn hopefully he can overnight at the sheriffs office (if that’s safer). I remember working in the hospital and trying to plan for hurricanes with pets. It was awful. And GA gets way fewer storms than FL. Getting two back to back is so hard for FL right now 😢

@cortneylynnn, oh gosh! Stay safe! Most of my family is closer to Orlando but I have a close friend in Sarasota! they’ve been saying it’s crazy right now! Stores out of food and water. Can’t even imagine what the lines at the gas stations look like right now, for those still open. Hope you and your family stay safe! And hopefully you still have a home next week😢

I cried because my oldest had a staring contest w the baby girl (yes through my belly and she won) and my 2yo wanted to play cars w sister so he rolled them off my belly. They love her already and I was nervous they'd be hesitate or upset about another kiddo. I think they're more excited than my husband. 😅
