GTKY: Do you cut your kids’ hair yourself or take them somewhere to get it cut?

Month/Cycle? Stopped counting

WTO/TWW? TWW

Ages of other child(ren)? 5 and 6 (turning 7 this week)

Any thoughts about this cycle? Benched, but should be able to do an FET next cycle!

Rant/Rave? DS1’s birthday is this week, so that’ll be fun. We are going to a rock climbing place to celebrate.

GTKY: Do you cut your kids’ hair yourself or take them somewhere to get it cut?
I was actually sitting in Supercuts waiting for my son to finish getting his haircut when I wrote this question. I used to cut both their hair and I would just use clippers and cut it short all over. DS2 still likes his hair that way so I still cut his, but DS1 likes more complicated hairstyles now so I have to take him somewhere.

My spouse cuts the little one's hair. He cuts his own hair too and I sometimes help if he missed any spots in the back. Thinking about letting him cut my hair next. He actually did a great job on my sister's in the beginning of the pandemic. 😂

Any thoughts about this cycle? DH works nights and it makes timing difficult, looking at my probable O date does not give us good odds. 

Any questions? Anybody else have a partner that work funky days/hours? How do you handle timing? 

Rant/Rave? We are going to the bay on Sunday/Monday for DD1s bday and I cannot wait. DH is hoping that his mom doesn’t try to invite herself along (because we did not invite her because we do not want her to go duh) and it will get messy. She showed up last night with SIL (SIL was expected, MIL was not) and I will literally shut the door in her face and tell her to get lost if I have to see her before Saturday. 

GTKY: Do you cut your kids’ hair yourself or take them somewhere to get it cut? I take them to Supercuts. My sister technically had a license/went to school (think it expired though) and has done it before but she gets nervous about wiggly kids so I don’t usually have her do it. She still does my mom/dad/other sibs and has done mine in the past. I generally cut my hair like every other year, lol. DD1 needs a cut before school starts, she usually keeps it shorter/shoulder length cause she hates dealing with it. I generally let them make the decisions, but remind them that if they don’t like it, it was their choice but will eventually grow out.
