Any thoughts about this cycle? Benched, but embryos are shipping soon so hopefully this is the last benched cycle

Rant/Rave? DS1 has day camp all this week. It’s nice to have a bit of a break and also some one-on-one time with DS2

GTKY: What movie are/were you most excited to show your kids?
Probably Jurassic Park. We still haven’t shown them because I know DS1 would be too scared, but I think they are almost old enough.

Rant/Rave? Rave: Seeing family has been very fun. Glad we went on this trip even though it's a bit difficult as I still can't lift anything above 10lbs.

Probably either the Lord of the rings or Harry Potter movies when he's older.

Any thoughts about this cycle?  Very active crosshairs. Not sure if it’s my temping method(Apple Watch) or my sleep pattern (lolz) or my body (hah!) but I seem to get dotted crosshairs and then they move, and then again. Annoying. 

Any questions? Anybody else have crosshairs that change a lot over the week or so before O? 

Rant/Rave? I am absolutely not looking forward to spending the weekend hanging out with my MIL after what she did last weekend. If fact I would very much like to not see her for a while, but DD1 has her bday dinner weekend after this and that means a third weekend in a row I will have to deal with her. (She has boundary issues, likes to leaves a mess and often changes the thermostat when she’s over🤬). It took years after we were married for her to actually accept me (DH has always been on my side but she has clear favorites and he isn’t it so sometimes she doesn’t really listen to him either) even though of all her 5 kids he’s the only one in a stable, happy, loving, successful relationship. She uses his desire for a good/loving parental relationship to her advantage(which he calls her out on). Her and 1 sister are really the only family he has left we talk to and he understandably struggles with the thought of cutting them out entirely (again, he did when we started dating and she was over the top rude). 

GTKY: What movie are/were you most excited to show your kids? Treasure planet/Meet the Robinsons. Very amazing but underrated Disney movies. Also Jurassic Park, which they have seen. We haven’t done the whole Harry Potter saga yet but I look forward to it. (Dobby’s death will probably be really hard for DD1)

@thatbaintforbetty Ever since I did acupuncture, I get crosshairs too early and then they change to dotted and sometimes they eventually move but sometimes I have to move them to what actually makes sense. For me it happens because ever since doing acupuncture, my BBT starts to rise a bit leading up to O, which leads to FF thinking I O’ed already. I do still get a spike that lines up with CM signs, so I can usually still pinpoint when O happens.

WTO/TWW? ?? My ovulation tests have not shown a super strong peak, but all other signs point to ovulation happening yesterday or the day before. So don’t know.  

Ages of other child(ren)? 11 months

Any thoughts about this cycle? Ovulation has just been very hard to track since having my son. I clearly am because I have a regular period since 6 weeks, BUT… I’m just confused lol. Not frustrated yet, just confused.

Rant/Rave? Had a lovely family lake trip just the three of us over the weekend and it was very refreshing. Downside is my son’s sleep schedule has been a b*tch to get back to normal all week. Screams bloody murder for nap time, so that is fun. 🥲

GTKY: What movie are/were you most excited to show your kids? Definitely Lord of the Rings. We’ve been reading him the books since he was born!

@thatbaintforbetty I use premom for tracking and haven't had issues with the O date jumping around. It's been pretty accurate for me, I usually do temping and when I'm having a good month I do LH tracking too. Their test strips are pretty cheap so it's a good system.

@britters314 I remember watching Jurassic Park as a kid and being scared AF. So, good call on waiting. 
@ferret22 what surgery did you have? 
@thatbaintforbetty I didn't even know you could temp with Apple Watch. I use Oura ring w/ Natural Cycles app though, so I guess it makes sense that Apple and other wearables are jumping on the cycle monitoring train. 
@mrskoehl are you BFing? It's possible to be getting a period but NOT actually ovulating. (I learned this from my functional medicine doc which kinda blew my mind.)

Any thoughts about this cycle? Although we're not trying, we're doing a lot of testing. I just lined up my ultrasound, SIS, and endometrial biopsy for Sunday. I'll be going back to the only RE I trust with my "down there" so I'm excited to see her after almost 2 years.

Rant/Rave? My husband was away for 6 days so I was solo parenting my 15 DS. The week days aren't bad, but the weekends are pretty brutal since he's still on 2 naps on weekend (but 1 nap at daycare during the week). So, it's like a high stakes game of tetris to do stuff with him in between naps and then get home with enough time to spare to eat and prep for nap. And of course he picked up a cold while DH was away and is still working on those top molars (only been a month +) so sleep at night was not great. 

GTKY: What movie are/were you most excited to show your kids? Haven't even thought about it! But it'll probably be something sci fi / space-y / or Harry Potter.

@acleverusername I had my gallbladder taken out. I'm feeling a lot better now!
