General TW for mention of previous treatment and losses and success.  

I intro'ed myself back in April, and then didn't do anything here, so here I am again. In April, I was doing / waiting to do some testing with my reproductive immunologist (RI) which took several week, and then another 6 weeks to review my results. Well, that consult was a bit of a disaster. This is a different RI that I dealt with for my first pregnancy, and without going into too much detail (I will likely do that in the IF thread), I decided to return to my previous RI. But this means we have several more months of waiting for various testing, then starting immune meds, etc. 

Ages (you and SO): 40/39

How many months have you been TTC?: We're TTA until I have "green light" from my RI, which will take several months still (expecting October start).

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: Once I get my green light, we will try to conceive the "traditional way" (i.e. HIO on the right days) following a protocol from my functional medicine doctor and the immune medication I'll be one (the same I used before). We'll probably try for 4-6 months, and then if no success, move on to embryo transfer with our banked embryos. For now, I've started tracking my cycle as some of the testing require to be done on very specific days. 

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) We have a 15 month old DS whose conception was not easy (see my siggy). We went through the gamut of treatments, escalating in complexity, difficulty, and cost. At the end of it, we ended up with 5 euploid embryos we we didn't end up using due to a combo of unmedicated pregnancy, followed by an MMC, followed by a D&C, followed by a "kitchen sync functional medicine protocol" followed by an unmedicated conception. 

We also have a 4.5  yr old Pembroke Welsh Corgi. She's a delight and our OG child. 

For hobbies, gosh, not really because time is limited. I have decided that I want to eventually get out of corporate work (more on that later) and go into providing fertility and traditional doula services for those who have a history of infertility because infertility dramatically impacts both antepartum and postpartum experience. I'm starting to work on that a bit on the side in the not-so-much spare time that I have. I also listen to regency romance audiobooks while falling asleep. And podcasts whenever I'm driving. 

Work wise, I am a program manager manager working in future of transportation: autonomous vehicles.
