How you found out: We have been trying, so I have been (obsessively lol) taking pregnancy tests.
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My husband and I have one other kiddo, 21 months, together and he has an older daughter from a previous relationship. We have two cats, Clancy, our old guy, and Babu, the "new" addition at 4 lol. I work as a school social worker and am currently enjoying summer break I used to really enjoy reading and kayaking but have not found much time for either with a toddler and recently restarting graduate school (for my EdS).
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? Emotionally, excited - this was planned and I we pretty happy to be adding to the family. Physically, I have a consistent back ache, which was one of my earliest symptoms with my son, too.
This is our first child and we’ve been trying for several months, so we’re excited that we finally conceived! My husband is thrilled to become a daddy and I have always wanted children.
I’m feeling pretty tired and nauseous already, which doesn’t leave me hopeful for the rest of the first trimester 😅 but glad there’s a reason for the discomfort.
Due date might be March 6th. I am a single mom (to-be) by choice. I had my IUI on June 13th, and I found out on the 26th. I went back for more blood work today, the 28th to make sure HCG value is rising correctly.
I have two cats. I'm a HS Art teacher. So far, I feel fine, but it is quite early days yet.
I found out a few days ago on a whim. We tried this month and I was convinced I was experiencing PMS but sure enough it came back positive on the test!
I am a third grade teacher. I am enjoying my summer break, and about to leave for a two week trip to Michigan.
My husband and I are feeling very excited and thankful! This will be our first baby, so we are praying for a healthy pregnancy. My only symptoms so far are mild cramps and fatigue from insomnia (maybe from being excited?)
I found out unexpectedly yesterday when I just was feeling off. I have a 9 year old son so it’s been a while since I have gone through all of this. Still very early! I’ve been feeling a little queasy if I don’t eat every couple hours. Otherwise fine! I am a lawyer for a labor union but trying to enjoy as much of the summer break with our son as possible!
How you found out: We’ve been trying so I’ve been testing. Possibly obsessively haha @laj0217
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I just had an early loss in March so cautiously optimistic. This will be our 4th kiddo. We have 3 boys! I am a dietitian and actually JUST accepted a new job right before I found out 😬 so a little nervous about that. I like to read, garden, some hobby crafting.
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? Nauseous, otherwise feeling ok. Mostly just nervous because of the recent miscarriage.
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My husband and I have an almost 5yo together. We've been trying for three years through IUI. One miscarriage. Our first IVF cycle after a LEEP. We have a rambunctious 1yo puppy and a 3mo kitten. We're both social workers.
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? Hella tired and nauseous. Doesn't help that it's hot as heck outside. Trying to take it slow and snack often. Keep drinking water!
I found out by taking a pregnancy test 6 days before my period was expected and it was positive!
I have 3 children (18, 14, and 12 years old). This is my first with my new partner. We’ve been together for 3 years and this was our first month trying to conceive!
I’m exhausted most of the time but other than that not many symptoms yet.
approximately March 6th (not yet confirmed by OB).
How you found out:
I started cramping about 1.5 weeks before my missed period and was extremely tired. Took a test and tested positive at 3 weeks 1 day!
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
I'm 30, my husband is 44, and I have 1 wonderful stepson (8) from my husband's previous marriage. We have 2 cats and a dog. I love to read, paint, and go hiking. My husband and I both work for the Post Office, so lots of walking for me!
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)?
Physically, I'm exhausted all the time and the insomnia has already started (yay 2am wake ups times!). Emotionally? I'm so happy, this is my first. But I'm also so nervous!
Hi I’m Lauren! Due date: Around March 10th, my own calculation How I found out: we were TTC so I’ve been taking tests and right when I was thinking it was a no this cycle, a line popped up! More about me: I’ve been married to my awesome husband for a little over 18 months and work in the lab. We have two lovely cats :) How am I feeling?: Emotionally - SO excited, but managing my expectations since this is my first ever pregnancy Physically - exhausted and nauseated 😂
How you found out: I had a dream I got a positive pregnancy test so I tested the next morning excitedly only to get a negative result (9 or 10dpo). I tested again a couple days later just because and got the faintest positive! I tried new cheapies this time around and didn’t read the negative reviews about how faint the positive lines are😅 now the second part of the dream I had was that it was twins. So I’m just waiting to confirm there’s just one baby in there haha.
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) my husband and I have one daughter (born in feb 2023) along with a German shepherd and a cat! We just bought a new house and will be moving this week! We will definitely need the extra space!
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? Not a ton of symptoms, some light cramping every now and then and tired 24/7 but that’s not anything new.
Anyone tell their partner the news in a cute way? For our first I was too excited after TTC for a year and told him at 6am with the positive test haha. I wanted to plan something this time but we were supposed to have mimosas with his parents the next morning to celebrate our new house so I knew I had to tell him fast. He has a hat that says “dad” on it and I added a piece of a post it that said x2 on to it and hid the pregnancy test under it! He was surprised since this was our first cycle trying and I told him about the negative test already!
Tell us about yourself: I'm 35 years old, I have two kids already (from my first marriage). Marz is 10 and Lu is 8. I work with children on the spectrum and I myself, am autistic. I used TheBump BMBs for my first two pregnancies and had to hop on for the third. I've made life long friends from TheBump BMBs (we've traveled to celebrate birthdays, weddings, baby showers, etc). I really hope I can find some friends this time around too. I have 2 dogs and a kitty too.
How are you feeling?: I have extreme anxiety so I have early pregnancy symptoms everyday of my life, lol I currently feel super normal.
TLDR: I ADHD, so I wrote a novel. Sorry. Introduce yourself: I'm Lauren, 36
Due date: unconfirmed March 18th
How you found out: I've been tracking everything. I had a previously unsuccessful pregnancy and am starting to experience symptoms.
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) If successful, this will be our first. We have a cat, named Paul, who is 16 years old. I work at an independent grocery/bulk foods store. My husband and I have been together for 17 years, married for 9 years. He works in tech.
We had planned on starting TTC 5 years ago, but then I was diagnosed with a smidge of breast cancer. And then all of 2020 happened, and kept happening. I'm 4 years NED. We tried last autumn, got pregnant right away, but then lost the pregnancy over the Christmas Holidays.
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? Good, I was BLOATED up until a couple of days ago. Now I'm just a little belch-y, with a constant dry cough, mainly due to heightened allergies and a small amount of ever-present acid reflux. I know it will get old quick, but I'm actually looking forward to seeing more dramatic symptoms, since I never got that far last time. I'm also unbothered by body changes.
I've always been fit, but never very slim. But, since having cancer, I am now on the "very thick" end of the body spectrum. I had a lot of post illness body dismorphia to work through the last 4 years, as I tried to lose weight with ZERO success. I've recently switched gears. Instead of trying to lose weight, my new goal is to build muscle. I'm tired of fighting my body, so I'm choosing strength to meet her (my body) where she's at.
I'm looking forward to my body being changed again. But this time, for something joyful and asked for.
Hi everyone! I'm Marbellie. I was a really active user a few years ago for my Oct 2019 and November 2021 BMBs, I'm so close with my first group to this day that I want to join again and hope for a similar outcome 😊
Due date: March 13th based on likely O date
How you found out: We were trying, but this was our first cycle and my temps were kind of all over the place this cycle (I wasn't even fully convinced that I ovulated). But I was about to go out for a short race/drinks, so I took a test at 10DPO to ease my mind and was shocked at the squinter that popped up
Tell us about yourself: I'm a real estate lawyer. We have a 4 year old son and 2 year old daughter.... Oh and 2 dogs. My husband and I have been together 11 years now. We always said that we wanted 3 kids and this feels so surreal to be on the road to completing our family ❤️
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? I think I'm a little more tired than normal. For my past pregnancies, tiredness and no period were my only physical symptoms, but we'll see if this pregnancy will be different.
Hi!! So happy to be here, my name's Lydia and I'll be 28 this month! This will be my first pregnancy!
Due Date: March 2nd, unconfirmed
How you found out: I had a strong inkling that I was, so I tested at home with a cheap Walmart test.. thought I was seeing things, so I tested again with a more 'expensive' test and it was positive! But I tested at 6:30p, so I tested again the next morning just to double check lol. Still positive 😂
Tell us about yourself: My fiancé and I are getting married in August, we've been together almost 6yrs! We've never been specifically trying to get pregnant, but we've never prevented it either! He's nervous and excited.. completely surprised him with a cute 'best dad ever' hat, a onesie that said 'i love daddy', the pregnancy tests and a crumbl cookie with a note saying "eek!!! we're having a baby!" secretly recorded the whole thing and his reaction was perfect 🥹
How are you feeling: Mentally? Very excited!! Physically? I've had mild period-like cramps almost every day, which had me worried, but it sounds like that's relatively normal? I have my first OB appointment in two weeks, so lots of praying for a healthy pregnancy 🫶🏼
Hi everyone! My name is Lexie- I’m 28 and pregnant with my first! We have been not trying/not preventing since February 2024.
Due date: unconfirmed March 7
How you found out: period was 3 days late and I felt so sick! Had a gut feeling and the line showed up within seconds. 2 days before wedding day.
Tell us about yourself: I just got married on July 2 and we have 3 cats! I’m also a Kindergarten teacher. How are you feeling: I’m feeling okay so far. Today I’m spiraling because I’ve been eating things I didn’t know I wasn’t supposed to be eating (deli meat/hot dog/tuna) so I’m trying to stay sane. Otherwise I’m EXCITED!
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I am a 39 yr old married sahm who homeschools. We have 5 children ages, 1,7,9,12,15. How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? Fatigue, gas, increased thirst and appetite, insomnia Excited and nervous, feel like there maybe more than one
How you found out: was late and had a gut feeling I was pregnant took a test and immediately showed a positive! Husband and I were starting to think about kids but weren’t explicitly trying or preventing
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I’m 28 and work in revenue operations for a tech company. I’ve been married to my husband for 2 years and been together for 9 and this will be our first kid! Currently we have two labs who were obsessed with.
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? Sore breasts and mild cramping and the 3/4am wake up insomnia but no nausea. Sadly though I tested positive for Covid this week and I’m trying not to freak out! I’m going on day 4 of it and managed to kick the fever so hoping I’m in the clear
Hey my name is Makenzie, I am 26 years old and I work as a social worker at a psychiatric hospital. According to my calculations due date is March 8th! This is my second time being pregnant, first time ended in loss in December so I am very anxious but very excited to be pregnant and back on the bump again. My husband and I got married in October. I found out because we had been trying so I took an early response test several days before my period started and got a positive result! Have tested many times since then also. So far I’ve felt the slightest bit nauseous on and off and I’m very tired but that’s not super unusual 😂 very excited and hopeful!
This is my first pregnancy ever. I'm confused so I had my period on 13th of June it was short so I then took a test on 24th was Monday it showed a faint line... then again on the 26/27 I have period like cramps with spotting, on 29th I had abnormal pains in my lower abdomen and I've been spotting ever since.
How you found out: I took a pregnancy test 3 days before my missed period because I was paranoid and it was negative and I didn’t get my period so I took another last Saturday just to be safe because I am super regular and it was positive. Naturally of course I took 4 more tests and let the shock set in.
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My partner and I have been together almost 8 years. We have 2 dogs who are our absolute world and a 14 year old cat. I love anything DIY, decorating, painting, hiking, walking, cooking, exploring new places, architecture, and being near water. I work full time in a behavioral healthy field with children who have autism. I love what I do but I worry about the physical nature of my job and clients becoming aggressive during pregnancy.
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? Overall exhausted! I have ADHD and was medicated so in combination with stopping meds and the pregnancy exhaustion it has been rough. My boobs hurt on and off, I have had some joint paint, and my back has hurt A LOT! Other than physical symptoms, I was shocked and very nervous at first. I am still a bit nervous but becoming more and more excited and praying for healthy at this point. My first appointment is in 18 days which feels like forever from now.
How you found out? -i took a pregnancy test couple days before my period was due. And a quantitative hcg 3 days after.
Tell us about yourself: - I am an OR nurse and my husband is a financial analyst. We have 4 dogs, we lost one last year. This is our rainbow baby after our loss end of January, he was 15 weeks. So we're excited but very anxious.
How are you feeling? - a little cramping, occasional backache and insomnia
Due date March 11 Had a gut feeling on Monday and have tested multiple times this week. I go in Monday for a blood test. I am 39 and have 2 daughters 13 and 11. I'm pretty much freaking out. I had my iud surgically removed in May, and had my AMH levels checked at the very end of May. The level was a .48, and doctor told me it would be nearly impossible for us to conceive on our own, but here we are. I very much want to be happy about this pregnancy. I always thought we would have more children, but all I can think about is all the things that could be wrong with them. Any kind of assurance or stories of healthy babies would be great.
How I found out- I tested multiple times/days before my missed period. We have been TTC and I started feeling a little nauseous around the time I started testing.
I am a program manager at a non-profit and my husband works in insurance. We’ve been married for 2 years and this will be our first child!
I am feeling really excited and thankful to be pregnant. We had a really early loss a month ago so we are really excited and a tad bit anxious. Physically my breasts are sore and I’m nauseous occasionally. I’ve also been really hungry/eating a lot.
Hi, I’m OH. I’ve had 2 miscarriages, the most recent being about 3.5 years ago. Been very anxious to try again, but here we are!
Due date: March 18, my own calculation
How you found out: We decided to try last month, and I had a feeling I was going to get a positive test! Tested 4 days early and got a positive!
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I’ve been married to my husband 4 years and we have 2 dogs! We love to be outside, be on the water, and fish. We just bought a house a year and a half ago and have been enjoying doing projects.
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? I’m feeling so anxious, obviously to lose the baby again, but also just how life is going to change and that I don’t know what to expect. But taking things one day at a time for now! I’m definitely excited too, praying for a healthy pregnancy and baby! The only symptom I’ve experienced this far is just fatigue!
Was very tempted to lurk until after my OB appt, but with so many possible rainbow babies, I figure I should get in now.
Introduce yourself: Hello all, I’m BN.
Due date: March 13 according to LMP
How you found out: A friend who knew about my previous miscarriages last year suggested that maybe I’m not ovulating at the normal assumed time, since I’d had a quiet year. So I tested an ovulation test just to see if it was working. Shocker, it was positive. I knew that couldn’t be right because my period was due the next day. But after a quick Google search I saw it could be detecting HCG instead of LH. So I waited two days and tested the ovulation test again. Positive again. So this time I pulled out the other test. It was light, but positive.
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My husband and I have an 8yo son who wants a pet. DH says no, especially now that we may have a baby to save for. I’m an administrative assistant at a university and have been married 10 years. Used to love to read and game; no time for the latter so now devoted to the former.
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally?) Physically nauseous, exhausted, constantly peeing and dizzy with a new acne problem. Emotionally, I’m terrified. I went through two pregnancy losses last year, a chemical pregnancy in May and a spontaneous miscarriage in September. DH and I have been TTC since November 2022. Please send all the good vibes you can. 🤞
I’m Lauren (31) Due date: March 12 How you found out: I had some light bleeding on the Fourth of July and assumed I was starting my period, but it went away super quickly, so I decided to take a test and was shocked at the result. I’ve been off BC for a few months, but wasn’t expecting to be pregnant yet. Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My husband and I are celebrating 10 years married this week. I guess I’ll be saving that bottle of bubbly for next year lol. We are both middle school teachers. We have a 4 year old son, but this is my 5th pregnancy. We had two miscarriages prior to Cameron and one after. I’ve gone through a ton of testing, but there doesn’t seem to be a medical reason for them.
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? I’m very excited, but anxious due to my history. My little boy loves balloons, so I brought home a baby balloon to tell him and daddy. He can’t read yet, but just ran to show Dad his balloon. It was really sweet! As far as physical symptoms go, I’m just super thirsty and can’t sleep! The not sleeping is totally opposite of my previous pregnancies, so I’m hoping that means this one is a girl!
Introduce yourself: Hey, I’m Jess! I’m 35 years old.
Due date: March 13 (unofficial)
How you found out: positive test on July 5 after missed period
Tell us about yourself: My husband and I are about to celebrate our 15th anniversary! We have an 11 year old son together and he is very excited to be a big brother! I currently teach piano lessons and preschool music at our local music studio. We are enjoying the summer weather (while it lasts) and we love to go hiking and get outdoors as much as possible.
How are you feeling: emotionally - I’m a bit of a roller coaster. I was pregnant earlier this year and would have been due in October. That was a very tough loss for our family. This will be our rainbow baby, but we are all (understandably) a bit anxious. I want to be excited, but I’m staying cautiously optimistic. I’m trying my best to focus on the positive and take things one day at a time. I am having more physical symptoms this time around - trouble sleeping, bloating, and starting to get some food aversion/sensitivity. I’ve taken a nap almost every day this week haha.
Tell us about yourself: 2 boys, ages 4 and 6. One beautiful dog. I’m an instructional designer. Spouse is an engineer. I love movies and audiobooks.
How are you feeling: It is so insanely early. Cycle day 22. So no major symptoms. Maybe slight nausea and breast tenderness. Just enough that I thought to take the test. We’ve been trying for over two years, and I thought I was too old. I am so, so happy. Last chance for a girl, though I’ll be thrilled with a boy too (after a brief period of mourning that mom-daughter relationship, lol). Spouse isn’t quite as thrilled, but only from the “I can’t believe we’re starting all over again with those sleepless nights” perspective. My poor little boy is going to haaate being displaced as the baby! Trying not to get TOO excited since it’s so early, and miscarriage is more common at this age….
Hi! I’m 37 and we have 9yo and 7yo boys. I live in Texas and am kind of in disbelief but also cannot sleep so figured I’d crack open the bump for old time’s sake 😅. I’m still close with a solid group of ladies I met in my 9yo’s BMB. ❤️
I took 4 cheapie tests around 10pm tonight and thought I saw the faintest impression on just one of them. The others were solid negatives. Haven’t been able to sleep all night so I went and took 5 cheapie tests that all looked negative after a few minutes. I tried again to fall asleep and had a nagging feeling to check the tests again. To my surprise, 10 minutes later they were all solid positive lines.
My last pregnancy was in November 2019. I miscarried in December 2019 a few weeks after my oldest son was diagnosed with cancer at 5yo. In 2022 I had surgery to repair a severe pelvic organ prolapse. They said that we could start trying again 1 year after surgery. We’ve been trying since then but have always said we’d just let things be and not think too much about it. Nothing has happened in the last 2+ years so I figured it probably just wasn’t in the cards for us.
My oldest was 3 weeks early and my 7yo was 14 days early. According to my LMP, my due date would be March 13 I believe. Due to my prior surgery and other early pregnancies, if this bean makes it that far, I’d guess that it will be a February baby, but we’ll see!
Due date: March 19th (not confirmed as of yet). gotta wait nearly 6 weeks for the earliest available appointment.
Just tested on July 3...out of the blue to make sure I wasnt...LOL because me and my partner were about to begin again our TTC journey after recovery from a 3rd miscarriage (last one back in April 2024) so imagine my shock when two lines after two lines after two lines have kept appearing.
I'm 39 almost 40 in 9 days. I'm a mother to four kids (BGBG) (17, 15, 14, 7) but this would be me and my partner's first. he has two girls (14, 7)
I'm feeling so tentative about it alll; simply due to the losses. But I'm taking it all in stride. what is meant to be will be. and that's that. Here's to sticky baby dust for everyone.
Re: Introductions

By calculating I'm due 20 March 2025
This is my first pregnancy ever. I'm confused so I had my period on 13th of June it was short so I then took a test on 24th was Monday it showed a faint line... then again on the 26/27 I have period like cramps with spotting, on 29th I had abnormal pains in my lower abdomen and I've been spotting ever since.
No I have seen a doctor yet
Due date? -march 4th, unconfirmed.
Due date March 11
Had a gut feeling on Monday and have tested multiple times this week.
My unconfirmed due date is March 12
How I found out- I tested multiple times/days before my missed period. We have been TTC and I started feeling a little nauseous around the time I started testing.
Spouse/partner?)
My husband and I have an 8yo son who wants a pet. DH says no, especially now that we may have a baby to save for. I’m an administrative assistant at a university and have been married 10 years. Used to love to read and game; no time for the latter so now devoted to the former.
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally?)
Physically nauseous, exhausted, constantly peeing and dizzy with a new acne problem. Emotionally, I’m terrified. I went through two pregnancy losses last year, a chemical pregnancy in May and a spontaneous miscarriage in September. DH and I have been TTC since November 2022. Please send all the good vibes you can. 🤞
Due date: March 12
How you found out: I had some light bleeding on the Fourth of July and assumed I was starting my period, but it went away super quickly, so I decided to take a test and was shocked at the result. I’ve been off BC for a few months, but wasn’t expecting to be pregnant yet.
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
My husband and I are celebrating 10 years married this week.
Due date: 3/25/25.
How you found out: Positive test today, July 9.
