membrane sweep success?

has anyone has a successful membrane sweep? i’m considering having one done at 38w+5d but not sure if it would actually even help progress labor or be successful. let me hear your experiences ladies!

Not me, but my friend had it done for her when she was 39wks and she went into labor less than 48hrs later.

There’s no way to say for sure. I had 3 in the span of a week and was induced later in the day of the third one. It helped me lose my mucus plug and dilate/efface a bit more. Just do it if you want 🤷🏻‍♀️

I had it done with my first born and labor/contractions started a half hour later and then had my son late that same day. Now pregnant with my second at 36 weeks and plan on having it done again at 38 weeks if little man isn’t here yet
