Brown Discharge @ 8 Weeks

Hi, this is my first time being pregnant and everything seems so scary. I’m 8 weeks and for the first time have brown discharge, my boobs don’t hurt as much and mild cramping. This is the time I’d be ‘expected’ to get my period. I did call the MD office and spoke to the nurse on call who went through tons of questions; I didn’t have any of the alarming symptoms so she told me to monitor if it get’s worse and of course call back. Photos below if anyone has any opinions.

i'm experiencing this at 6wk + 4 days.. how is everything for you?

Same for me for the last 2 days, I’m 7 weeks today. Look up luteal-placental shift. It eased my mind a bit, I was scared that it was early signs of miscarriage but I’m hoping it’s just the drop in progesterone as the placenta starts producing it. Haven’t talked to a doctor yet, so take this as just more information. 

Can I ask what questions you were asked? My first appointment isn’t until 9 more days

I am also experiencing this. I’ve had brown discharge, more than the picture posted for the past 24 hours and it’s increased some. My doctor wasn’t very concerned this am and said it could be from having intercourse (Saturday) or from implantation bleeding. I’ve also had cramping. I would describe it as very similar to day before period. I did have a clot earlier which also sent me into a bigger panic! This is my second pregnancy, first was last August and I had an MMC. Due to that I’m super heightened. I was able to get an ultrasound appointment for Thursday morning so I am hoping my fears will be eased.

First update, the doctor’s office told me that unless I’m seeing bright red blood or have other more severe symptoms, not to worry. So just letting go for now until my 1st appointment.
