Spotting/HCG Results

Hi Momma’s 👋🏼 I am new to the February Group, about 5 weeks along. This is my 🌈 baby 🤞🏼. I’m wondering if anyone knows about spotting in early pregnancy, or any success stories? I got my hcg test results and they are at 6,650. I’m just so 😥 nervous. I’m spotting & having little to no pregnancy symptoms. I just really hope this baby sticks.

I know spotting can be very normal, and be completely fine! Unfortunately I have not had success with spotting. However, I do know many who have had everything be perfectly fine!

I have not personally had any spotting. But a close friend of mine had spotting even some heavier bleeding with all three of her pregnancies and she had two healthy babies and is pregnant with the third currently. I am around 5 weeks and have minimal symptoms as well outside of constant cramps for a week straight. On and off sore boobs and on and off nausea. I think it can all be completely normal.

@babymonegro I had a bunch of bleeding at 7w with either 2 or 3, I can't remember now, and it turned out to be a sub chorionic hemorrhage, which we monitored, but was totally fine. I was panicked and convinced I was miscarrying and was relieved to hear a good heartbeat about a week after at my initial intake visit.

I spotted with my first during the first trimester and my best friend spotted for weeks and weeks, quite a decent amount too and thankfully we both gave birth to healthy girls!

I am 7 weeks and 2 days today and have had light brown discharge/spotting ever since I found out I was pregnant. I would be lying if I said I wasn't worried about it too, as this is my first pregnancy. But I had an ultrasound last Tuesday and there's a baby with a heartbeat in there. They say as long as it isn't dripping blood or enough to fill a pad you should be okay! Congratulations on your rainbow baby ❤️
