C-Section Question

I’m experiencing burning on one side of my incision which the doctor said is most likely nerve or suture related. My body also still has that “heavy” sensation that I thought would disappear right after birth. I walk so slow! Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing these symptoms after their c-section?

Yes I am experiencing the same (though it is intermittent). I was wearing a belly wrap after 1 week pp, that help elevated the presuue/heavy feeling in my lower stomach above my incision (note: Iade am appointment with my Doctor 6 days pp to have him take a look and asked him if I could belly wrap before I did it, so make sure you run it by your doctor or midwife). I dont wear the wrap all day, and when I take it off the feeling of heaviness slowly Returns - but I found wrapping has helped, along with good posture when sitting, and sleeping falr on my back. Again, not giving you medical advice, like I did - speak With your doctors first always before trying something new! Your not alone and best of luck!

3 months post partum with 2nd c section and the heaviness does go away after about 2 weeks and so does the burning sensation. I am still experiencing some numbness under my bellybutton but it will slowly come back. This is all normal
