Am I having a miscarriage?

I am approx. 7 weeks pregnant and started having dark brown spotting and mild cramps on 6/6/24. I am overseas and cannot see my obgyn for 2 more weeks until I’m back in the US. I went to a doctor in Italy who did an ultrasound on 6/7. We communicated via google translate, but overall she said everything seemed okay. As you can see in the attached image there isn’t a clear picture of an embryo. It’s just kinda hazy and white. She said it might be too early to see an embryo. On the morning of 6/8, I had a stingy mucus looking discharge. I am so worried that I’m having a miscarriage. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this before?

it’s normal to have some discharge even if it’s brown in early pregnancy. as long as it’s not bright red and heavy everything should be fine! i’m glad you were able to get checked while in italy though! that should give you some peace of mind
