Post partum supplies

What kind of post partum care are you guys using this time around? I usually do a large overnight pad but have been recommended women’s depends? Has anyone used a diaper? Any recommendations on what has worked for you guys?

I loved using depends the first time around! Much more comfortable than the big ol pad and a lot easier to just put on. I did layer it with the witch hazel circle pads they gave me at the hospital the way they prepped the maxi pads and it worked out. This time I got the always brand specifically for postpartum so I hope they’re just as comfortable.(they were cheaper) for sure get the Frida perineal bottle, so much easier to clean yourself than the reg bottle. Earth mama nipple cream! Take with you to the hospital I didn’t think I needed it that soon and no my nips were screaming, my husband had to get it from home when he went home to wash up. A front opening pajama shirt came in handy for skin to skin and BF. Flip flops for the shower and small toiletries. I didn’t take a lot and was glad bc the hospital gives you a lot. Oh they also gave me a dermoplast spray. I didn’t tear so I had an easy recovery. Good luck!
