Diagnosis (if you've been): Unexplained

Status (TI/ICI/IUI/IVF/FET/benched): Benched

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Matching phase for embryo adoption

How are things going?: Waiting for our clinic to decide if they will accept the embryos we were matched with. This is harder than the wait to be matched and I hope it doesn’t take them too long.

Any questions?: Nope

GTKY: How many pets have you had in your life?
As a kid: 1 toad, a few family cats, and, briefly, 1 dog
As an adult: 4 cats (2 still living)

Update: Just heard from the clinic today that they will accept the embryos! Next we’ll start the contracts phase, which is all the legal stuff for transferring the embryos to our possession.

Diagnosis (if you've been): Unexplained/PCOS

Status (TI/ICI/IUI/IVF/FET/benched): IUI

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Gonal F + Trigger + IUI

How are things going?: I am moving on to my IUI #2, first one was such a bummer since all parameters were perfect. 4 follicles above 18 mm; DH count at 26 m (98% motility) post wash yet no sucess. was on clomid from day 2-6 50 mg with trigger on CD 12 & IUI on CD 14. This cycle I am on Gonal f 37.5 every other day; on cycle day 9 i had 2 good follicles on each side- 10mm and 11 mm. Currently on CD 12 & expecting trigger shot to be administered tomorrow with IUI on Monday.

Any questions?: Any success stories/tips?

I had success with my son on the third round of IUI. It's a tough road, I hope this one works for you. ❤️

I think there's little superstitious things I did that I would try again if I went through IUI again. Like, I laid down for a while after the procedure. We took it really easy through that next day, like watching movies and relaxing. Also had spouse save it up so to speak for at least a week before collection which was more than recommended but worked much better for us, count wise. Not sure any of this really changed anything but it also didn't hurt, so could be worth trying.
