High Reticulocytes 13 week twin pregnancy

I went for blood work at 13 weeks pregnant with twins and saw that my reticulocytes were a bit higher than the upper range.
Reticulocytes/erythrocytes 2.5% (upper range is 2.1%)
Reticulocytes 94.7 x 10 9/L ( upper range is 90)
Reticulocytes immature/total reticulocytes 22.9% (upper limit 20%).

Erythrocytes, hemoglobin and hematocrit are within limits but just on the low end.

I am on amoxicillin still due to a strep throat infection from last week so not sure if that would affect the result.

I’m trying to get in contact with Ob office but has anyone had this happen in early pregnancy or know what it could be from?

Reticulocytes are new blood cells. They can be slightly up like this for many reasons. It could be up due to the combo of you're making a lot of new RBCs during pregnancy and because you've been sick. You should ask your doctor though since you may have individual medical history that could affect that number.
