Anybody waking up from sleeping with abdomen pain , i told my dr about and she said its round ligament pain but it hurts about everyday and usually gets better if i move /turn another side.
I'm 14 weeks and cramping has just started up for me again (I think baby is having a growth spurt), I was waking me up for about an hour a night, but magnesium has helped. The round ligament pain I get is super sharp but brief (2 to 5 seconds), and usually if I've been in one position for a while and then stretch or move top quickly. Hope it gets better!
I’m 13 weeks and the round ligament pain is a real issue especially trying to roll over, move, yawn, sneeze, etc. I’ve found that some prenatal yoga really helps gently stretch things out. I stretch before bed and when I get up.
For me it’s always when I stretch waking up, and if I stretch after sitting or being in one position for a long time. @mamahen521 I love the suggestion of prenatal yoga. I’ve been walking and running but could probably do with more flexibility work foe all the remodeling occurring in my uterus 😜
prenatal yoga has definitely helped with round ligament pain and soreness in general. There’s also some pretty relaxing ones to try before bed if you are dealing with any insomnia.
It's a common discomfort, actually. Though it's harmless, it's very discomforting. I advise you to call your doctor for further evaluation. Remember to use pillows for support during sleeping. I am wishing you immediate relief, dear.
