When to get 3D ultrasound?

Two questions. When is the best time to get the 3D ultrasound? And is it really safe to go to one of those boutique ultrasound places? The one I’m scheduled with is called Little Bellies (in the US).

I would NEVER go to a "funsie" ultrasound. It's supposed to be a medical procedure - not something for fun and games.  They are not regulated nor do you know if the person is properly trained to do them.  Not worth the risk at all.  US should be limited for medical need only. Not for sh**s and giggles.
