Rant/Rave? DS1 told me he had a dream last night that he got a baby sister (he knows we are working on an embryo adoption) and he said it was the best dream ever. Hopefully it comes true soon!

We are pretty eco-friendly regularly, so we didn’t do anything special, but we did talk about what Earth Day is

Any thoughts about this cycle? Likely a bust. Little bummed that our first real cycle back after break is out due to his training getting moved up.

Month/Cycle? 1ish (but I don't think we're going to try this cycle since I'm still getting all my reproductive immunology tests / report / plan done and I'm too scared to try before we have that.)

Any questions? There's like A HUGE delta between where I am now and where I need to be in order to be "on my functional medicine plan" and I have no idea the steps to take to bridge the gap. I've reached out to my functional medicine doctor to see if she can help me put together a plan to get back on track. 

Rant/Rave? Sleep training is both my rant and rave. We're finally sleep training our DS because bedsharing stopped working around month 10, and my husband (who's been out of work since November and has been able to help with 4 night wakes) is starting his new job on Monday. So, we needed to do something. We're working with a sleep consultant and doing the "chair method" and last night (#3), DS only woke up 1x to feed. Nights 1 and 2 were beyond miserable. 

GTKY: Are you doing anything with your kids for Earth Day? Losely dressing him for Earth Day Theme Week at daycare. Which meant I bough 1.5 outfits at Target which is actually the opposite of being Earth friendly.

Any thoughts about this cycle? We had good timing, but we also had good timing the previous 3 months, and no dice, so I don't even know anymore.

Any questions? I'm considering getting accupuncture to help conceive, anyone else gone that route? Also started Metformin this cycle, though more for its labeled use than fertility side benefits.

Rant/Rave? Rant: hubs thinks my weight is why it's taking so long this time, despite being at my lowest since 2018. Rave: only 1 kiddo currently in diapers, yay.

GTKY: Are you doing anything with your kids for Earth Day? 5 goes to a forest preschool, so they did something cool, but I haven't logged on to see photos yet.

@sejica I tried acupuncture for a few cycles and did some herbs as well. I definitely noticed a difference in my cycles, specifically my LP was longer and my temps post-O were higher, which is what we were aiming for. It didn’t lead to pregnancy, but I’m glad I gave it a try and I’ll probably do it again when we do an FET.
