Looking for Low carb, High protein with Low to no Dairy Recipes :)

I'm looking to transition to a low carb diet to help with some health issues. I'm also lactose intolerant, so I have to limit my dairy intake. I like variety in my diet, so, as much as I wish I could eat the same thing each week, it's not realistic for me right now. I'm trying to find creative meal and snack inspirations to eat low carb besides just straight up whole foods and meats.

Would love to hear ideas I haven't thought of yet! :)

  • I just asked this question a few days ago lol I get so hungry I'm almost sick. I'm trying to eat as much as I can at each meal and a snack before bed. Lots of protein and fiber. It's getting a little better now, I'm about 2.5 weeks out.

  • I understand you're looking for low-carb, high-protein recipes that are low in or free of dairy. Here are some recommendations that should fit your dietary needs:

    - Grilled Chicken Salad with Avocado and Olive Oil Dressing - A simple yet satisfying salad packed with lean protein and healthy fats.

    - Baked Salmon with Roasted Vegetables - Salmon is an excellent source of protein and the roasted veggies keep it low-carb.

    - Turkey Lettuce Wraps with Hummus - Ground turkey provides the protein while lettuce leaves replace high-carb wraps or bread.

    - Cauliflower Fried "Rice" with Shrimp - Riced cauliflower makes a great low-carb alternative to traditional fried rice.

    - Zucchini Noodles with Pesto and Grilled Chicken - Zucchini noodles are a tasty pasta swap, and pesto is dairy-free.

I hope these give you some ideas to get started. Let me know if you need any other low-carb, high-protein, dairy-free recipe suggestions!
  • The good news is that it sounds like your body is adjusting, and the intense hunger is starting to subside a bit now that you're about 2.5 weeks out. This is a very positive sign that your body is adapting.
