Spotting - Week 17

Wednesday night I noticed very very light brown spotting after wiping when I’d pee. Noticed it again yesterday, and made note of it becoming “heavier” and staining my underwear more, and becoming dark brown. I don’t exercise or lift anything heavy, and have not been intimate in what seems like ages. I went to the ER this morning to make sure baby is okay (this is my third pregnancy, 1 live birth and 1 missed mc last year due to a subchronic hemorrhage that unfortunately grew much larger and faster than my baby). The doctors told me they couldn’t find a cause for the bleeding as they did not see any hemorrhages internally, and said my baby is moving and has a strong heartbeat, everything is fine. I have no cramping or pain, but I came home and the “bleeding”/discharge seems more persistent/heavier? 

Has anyone experienced this? I’m terrified of having a mc this late but I’m also confused because baby is doing well.
