Worried about low progesterone

Has anyone started a pregnancy with low progesterone and had a healthy baby? I am on suppositories, but I read that low progesterone is indicative of poor egg quality and am very worried that the supplement is just masking a problem and just delaying or preventing a miscarriage of a baby with a chromosomal abnormality. Just looking for some reassurance that all could be okay.
