    Upcoming Appointments: had a 32 week scan today and everything looks good but we will see the OB on Friday to confirm. Feeling a bit anxious but I always do for these!


    How are you feeling?: ok! More tired the last few days but trying to get sleep and stay moving. We also almost have everything we need (I think!) so that’s good and I feel less anxious. Also down to top 4 on names 


    Rants/Raves: 
    rant- starting to outgrow some of my maternity clothes but reallllly don’t want to do more shopping. Might have to wear sweatpants and t-shirts in the last month of work. Friends of ours asked us to be witnesses to their city hall wedding and while I’m very touched, I’m also annoyed because none of my dresses fit. Couldn’t they have done this when I was in the second tri??

    rave- we met with a postpartum doula and I loved her. She’s like the warm helpful older sister I need (my actual older sister is neither of those things….)

    GTKY: What would be the first thing you'd do if you won the lottery? And what is something totally fun and unnecessary that you'd buy?

    given we have a dog and soon a baby in a one bedroom apartment, I’d buy some real estate for sure. For fun, eventually a second dog if we had more space? Or a great trip during mat leave? I like the interior designer idea!

    Upcoming Appointments: Had one today, just the quick checkin appointment; same thing again in two weeks.

    How are you feeling?: tired, but otherwise pretty well. I did not sleep well last night, largely down to having to pee all the time and my hands swelling and being all tingly. But then i was just awake from 2:30 to 5 for no apparent reason...

    Rants: I've been having a lot of shipping issues with things I've ordered lately, which would be frustrating anyway but feels worse lately when tracking shows items getting close and then inexplicably going back to destinations they've already been. 

    Raves: I baked my husband's birthday cake over the weekend and I was really pleased with how it turned out, both in taste and in looks. Also we had our breastfeeding class at the hospital last night and I'm feeling good about it.

    GTKY: What would be the first thing you'd do if you won the lottery? And what is something totally fun and unnecessary that you'd buy?

    I'd probably go for big home improvement projects, like fixing rotted boards, adding insulation, and redoing the garage. If I was being particularly frivolous, I'd buy a big excavator and knock down the empty house next door, because it needs to go anyway, and driving the big machine looks fun lol

    Upcoming Appointments: 4/3 just has one yesterday

    How are you feeling?: good!!

    Rants/Raves: baby is growing well and doc thinks she’s head down 🙌🏻 she’s going to do a lil scan next appt (36 weeks) to double check. Got the rest of my appts booked!
    rant: getting irritated with H’s job situation but trying not to get upset over what I can’t control. 

    Questions: nah

    GTKY: What would be the first thing you'd do if you won the lottery? And what is something totally fun and unnecessary that you'd buy?
    Buy a house cash!! Give a chunk to in laws for helping support us! Pay everything off. Go on a luxury vacation. Get my dog her surgery.
    Unnecessary would probably be a fun car or something like that.  Too bad I don’t play the lottery 😂

    How are you feeling?: hip hurts sometimes, otherwise fine

    Rants/Raves: rave - found out this morning at my scan that baby is head down, growing well, and has lots of hair 😂 doc says that my glucose numbers are good enough that I don’t have to test 4x a day anymore 🥳

    rant - my mom is awful to me when I’m pregnant, and she screamed at me yesterday for no reason and now I’m left contemplating cutting her out of my life again

    Questions: anyone else ready to be done 😅 I hate pregnancy

    Definitely buy a house. And probably some nice clothes haha

    @pennyandzooey I’m sorry that your mom has been awful to you. Definitely do whatever brings you peace! But I totally get how hard it is to have to cut people out. Totally not acceptable for her to yell at you though! Also yay on the glucose numbers!!
    I feel ready to be done as well, but I know I’ll miss it once she’s here lol! This end part is hard and uncomfortable for sure
