I’d like to use Eden as a middle name as it was my grandmother’s maiden name. However that would make our baby girls initials GEW. I think this could lead to teasing in school years. Then again how often does one divulge their middle name. Thoughts?

agree. I think initials matter but GEW doesn’t spell anything obscene or weird, it’s not anything I’d be concerned about.

There are certain initial combos I would avoid but GEW wouldn't be a dealbreaker for me.

My brothers intials are BJS.... they do matter but I don't think GEW is bad.

My initials are APE even after marriage because my husband’s last name also is an E. When I was super young I felt self conscious about it but now I embrace it and sign my name that way. Nobody even notices or cares. Unless it’s something crude I don’t think initials matter and they can make your name more unique.

Yes! I knew a kid with the initials BFM and he was amazing, but kids are cruel

But GEW is honestly fine. My initials are ANL after marriage 🤣
