**This is a place for those of us who have already started TTC, but have started infertility testing and/or treatments. You can express your thoughts, feelings, and frustrations on infertility. TTC can be a long journey naturally, then add in the difficulties associated with infertility, and it becomes a whole new ballgame. The road to infertility can be lonely, frustrating, and complicated, so let's make this a place where we can vent, ask questions, and support one another. Feel free to resurrect this thread at any point in the week if you have something to say. Treat this as an ongoing conversation.

Re: IF Testing & Treatment w/o Feb 19
Diagnosis (if you've been): Unexplained
Status (TI/ICI/IUI/IVF/FET/benched): IVF
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): PGT-A and PGT-M genetic testing
How are things going?: Pro tip: don’t schedule your retrieval for the Tuesday before a holiday weekend. (Kidding, of course, I’m aware you don’t really get a say in when your body is ready.) But days 5-7, when we could expect to hear about embryo development, fell EXACTLY over the long weekend, and oh man the silence from the lab was deafening. But we’ve got our results (see spoiler below for details), and biopsied samples are on their way to the genetic testing lab. We should get those results within 15 calendar days!
Any questions?: Has anybody failed the trial embryo transfer (TET)? What caused the problem? Was a later trial successful? [Apparently they do a practice run while you’re knocked out for the retrieval, but if they have problems, then they’ll insist on coming back for another test before they’ll do a real transfer. And it seems I caused some kind of problems 😕 Will try to learn more from my RE during our follow-up call tomorrow, but this whole process is news to me, so any anecdata or insights welcome!]
GTKY: What was the first CD you owned? My very very first CD was a children’s songs mix called Six Little Ducks, but my first true album was Toby Keith’s How Do You Like Me Now.
I think it was a Jump 5 album. Or possibly *NSYNC
P.S. I was bitter when I was banned, in the midst of MC #5, and well, I'd love to change my signature but just spent what felt like an eon going through my profile options and can't freaking figure it out. *sigh*
@aisleviewoftwo Congrats! Also, I've not heard of the TET. So, either mine went well, or my clinic doesn't do it?
@britters314 Yay for reducing stress on vacation!
