Nausea

Anyone else really struggling with nausea? This is my 4th but by far the worst I have felt. I will be 7 weeks tomorrow and am so nauseated all the time. It's so hard because I don't want to eat anything but I know that's probably making the nausea worse. I don't know how I am going to manage since I still most likely have several more weeks of feeling so sick, all the while trying to keep up with my 3 little ones. Anyways, I guess just looking to see if anyone else is in the same boat. I know it is par for the course but man does it suck. Thank you for letting me vent!

Re: Nausea

  • I’ve been feeling sick since week 3, I’ve found that if I keep saltines in my bedside drawer and munch on one every time I get up to pee at night, it prevents me from waking up with an empty stomach (which for me just doubles the nausea). Good luck!!

  • It's pretty terrible for me too. With my last pregnancy I was nauseous all the way through the day I gave birth and had to be on meds. I'm really hoping this time won't be as bad but it's def giving me anxiety.

Side note, it's not a big deal but please try to put symptoms discussions in the symptoms threads. We'll start one each month to keep the board less cluttered. There's already a symptoms thread open this month.
  • I knew I was pregnant because I was nauseous around week 3 and can only really eat cold food right now. I also got a virus from my toddler so I’ve been seriously sick so I can empathize with not keeping up with little ones. Thankfully my husband has stepped up, and come 7:30pm, I’m ready to pass out so he holds down everything. The extra fun thing is our backyard is being remodeled so our dogs have to be taken out on walks vs. free rein of the backyard via a doggie door. So between being sick, pregnancy fatigue and nausea, two dogs, and a toddler, I’m overwhelmed. Currently eating apple sauce and praying the nausea passes.
