has anyone else had really bad menstrual type cramps? w/o bleeding

hi! i’m 18 weeks and 3 days. everyday throughout the day and night i have extremely strong menstrual type cramps. thankfully my doc says it hasn’t affected my cervix opening and i haven’t had any bleeding. it’s a little worrisome because my doctor hasn’t eliminated that it might lead to preterm labor later on. has anyone else had cramps like this? what’s your experience like?

I was recently having some cramping that felt strong enough that if it were my period I definitely would have taken Motrin or something for it. I went to the ER and I had no other symptoms. My urine showed some bacteria so I was treated for a UTI and I haven't felt it anymore since i finished the antibiotics. This was about 2 weeks ago

im glad yours was able to be resolved! unfortunately my urine is clean and im just hoping it’s not going to complicate anything 😭

i'm definitely having some more cramping this time around but this is #3.  it is made worse by any compression on my abdomen and definitely is super sensitive to dehydration.  looking forward to when i can stand to wear my maternity belt!
