3rd cycle IVF - small follicles and low E2 on day 6

Hi all,
I'm wondering if anyone using estrogen priming protocol had low estrogen and small follicles on a day 6 monitoring appt - and what ended up happening with your cycle?
We are on our third cycle of IVF (neither of the first two produced embryos). This time, I used estrogen priming (a patch every other day + ganirelix) before starting shots with the goal of more even follicle development. Today I had 16 follicles, but they were very small (biggest was about 8 mm, they didn't measure the others) and my estrogen was 230. Has anyone been in this boat before - small follicles and low E2 on day 6 - and able to share the outcome of their cycle?

  • In cases of small follicles and low estrogen on day 6 of an IVF cycle, outcomes can vary. It's essential to discuss concerns with your fertility specialist, who can adjust medications or provide guidance tailored to your individual situation for optimal results.
