Showers Causing Nausea…

This is my third baby. I’ve never had this issue before. I’ve been feeling pretty nauseous in mornings and evenings with headaches in the afternoon. Now I’ve noticed over the last week or so, every time I get out of the shower I feel terrible. Nausea and headaches and I just need to lie down. (I usually shower in the afternoons these days.) I don’t know if it’s my body overheating or breathing the steam or my soaps? Any one else experience this or have tips?

Re: Showers Causing Nausea…

  • I experienced this before. It is possible that your body is overheating or that you are breathing in too much steam, which can cause these symptoms. Or perhaps it could be due to the soaps or other products you use during your shower. Try showering with cooler water or for a shorter duration. You can also try using fragrance-free or hypoallergenic soaps and products to see if that makes a difference. Make sure to stay hydrated and avoid skipping meals, as low blood sugar can also contribute to feelings of nausea.

Yes, I am experiencing this now. My hygiene has been borderline awful because of it. I lowered the temp of my shower, changed products, take a short shower, then leave time for a nap. It’s helped a lot. I also drink tons of water.
