Symptoms come and go?

Anyone else have symptoms come and go? I was nauseous, bloated, exhausted, didn’t want to eat anything for a few days. Then all of a sudden yesterday I feel myself. This morning I don’t feel any nausea and my bloat seems to have gone way down. First pregnancy and I know people say symptoms come and go but making me nervous! I am 6 weeks tomorrow, my doctors office doesn’t see you until 8, so the waiting game and lack of symptoms today making me anxious!!!

Re: Symptoms come and go?

  • Hi there, I’m 7W4d. I also have really minimal symptoms currently, but didn’t really have any when I in 5-6 weeks. My breasts started becoming tender pretty early in, but that was about it. I’m now starting to feel a bit nauseous throughout the day, some things smell different to me, fatigue and OMG the bloat/constipation. I’ve had friends tell me that they didn’t start experiencing more noticeable symptoms until week 8. It’s definitely nerve wracking to not feel like you have any symptoms. Since I haven’t established with my OB yet either, I reached out to my PCPs office to ask if I could get my HCG levels checked a few times to see they they are progressing like they should and they ordered labs for me. Seeing those numbers jump up definitely helped calm some of my anxiety. I also kept trying to remind myself everyone’s different and at least I’m not having any concerning signs. The symptoms will come and I just told myself to enjoy being symptom free while I can 😊 You got this!

  • I feel like my breasts aren’t AS tender as they were. Im not AS nauseated either but I just feel sick/bloated a lot! I’m also nervous bc I didn’t have cramping since week 4 but now cramping a lot again during week 7.
Should I be concerned? I had my Hcg levels tested early and heard heartbeat at 6weeks but it’s so early anything can happen.
Does your body adjust to the rising hormones ? I feel like I’m n out quite as cranky as I was last week but a little more weepy. 😱
  • I’m on baby number 3 and I’ve had this happen with almost all of my pregnancies. Both of my previous pregnancies have been full term and healthy. With this pregnancy, I had a lot of breast tenderness early on but now at 8w4d that’s gone away. I have nausea and irritability but it comes and goes. On the days I do have it, it’s mainly during the evenings. Some days I’m completely exhausted despite getting the same amount of sleep as normal and others I feel normal. With all of the hormones and development going on in the first trimester, our bodies have a lot going on every day and not every day is going to be like the other. If something is really concerning you, reach out to your doctor for peace of mind but from my experience, I don’t think it’s anything to worry about. My doctor told me to call them if I have heavy vaginal bleeding (more than normal spotting) or severe, prolonged cramping so those were the red flags they told me to look out for. I hope this helps!
