Cooking, mostly! We keep a summer garden and I’ve started getting into canning. So far my favorites have been pepper jelly, peach jelly and wild blackberry syrup! 😋 This year I want to try to can some tomato juice and salsa! I’ve helped can tomato juice in the past, but I haven’t tried my own hand at it but once with a single jar.

@sph97 I'll have to get tips from you.  I want to start a small garden (zuchinni,  tomatoes) this year but I'm overwhelmed.

@sph97 I want to get into canning!! We have a pretty decent vegetable garden in the summer and love the farmers market. My MIL used to make hot pepper jelly for us all the time and I was obsessed with it.

I have definitely not been keeping up with any hobbies recently but I love to read, cook/bake and work out. Baking bread is the current new hobby that I have been keeping up on and it’s so fun!

@lexilougolden @optimisticoctopus it seems intimidating at first but it’s so easy!! I want a water bath canner, I’ve been using my stock pots and sometimes getting my cans out is a task lol. We live close to my IL’s so we all work the garden (well suppose too, we get suckered in most the picking lol).

I want to make bread! Do you have a starter or use active yeast each time?

Ooh I just got a new bread maker for Christmas so I’ve been experimenting with breads as well. 

Also forgot one of my favorite hobbies, playing guitar

I enjoy reading, baking, walking outside when the weather is nice, and live theater. I wish I was interested/good at gardening, I like the idea of it but I am not good at it at all.

@sph97 my BIL gave me some of his starter for Christmas so I’ve been experimenting more with sourdough recently! I don’t think I’ll ever be a sourdough purist though, there’s something about an active yeast bread that is just so easy. With the sourdough I really have to plan ahead

In fact, I no longer knew what to do in my everyday life. However, having encountered the national cowgirl museum and hall of fame customer service, I realized that I still have time to sit at home, but it is not always possible to visit such places) Use it)

I love crafting. I love going to the beach alone and people watching and painting with my toes in the sand. I love reading but i am very picky and it’s hard for me to find a book or series that I can get into.
