Hcg doubling time

Hi,

I’ve had a previous loss, so my doctor has been monitoring by hcg doubling time. My first draw at 4weeks and 6 days was 1544. My second draw at 5 weeks and 5 days was 15247. So far the numbers are doubling every 48 hrs. my third draw at 6 weeks was 26627, so didn’t exactly double. I’ve just been reading conflicting reports about doubling time and somewhat worried. I can’t talk to my doctor until Monday. Are these numbers concerning? Did anyone else’s slow down a bit around 6 weeks? My ultrasound is in one week.

i think these are really strong numbers for this gestational age. i believe that hcg levels start to increase their doubling time around 5/6 weeks, meaning they take a longer time to double. i think you’re good, but trust your doc as they seem confident in the tests they’re running on you!
