Ganirelix - how did you cope?!?!?!

Hi everyone π
I have started my first round of IVF.
I had started on oveleap 375ui last week and have started on Ovamex (Ganirelix) yesterday, on day 6.
Within seconds of injecting it, it felt like someone was hitting my leg with stinging nettles and swells up. From reading different forums, it sounds like that is very common.
But I was just wondering if anyone has any recommendations on how I can reduce the burning and stinging feeling (I can get passed the blunt needle). I have tried icing before this time and also took paracetamol and an antihistamine (just incase its a slight allergy) but is still stung like crazy.
Cheers in advance for any advice and I'd love to hear how other people are doing.
