Slow rising HcG levels

Hi yall, 

Dr's estimate I'm between 4 to 6 weeks right now. I ovulated late. I received a call today that there are possible concerns of ectopic pregnancy or miscarriage. I was sent last Thursday for beta hcg blood test due to bleeding that lasted 6 days. Is anyone else having this issue ??

1/6 - 31
1/8 - 51
1/10 - 70

I will be going in Friday, Monday and if still not doubling she will discuss next steps. Stated its too early to see anything on an ultrasound.

Sounds like you’re doing everything right by keeping close track of your levels! I hope it’s just a slow start and that you get some reassurance or good news.

I had a miscarriage a few months ago and I just got pregnant again (I’m about as far along as you). So no matter what happens just know it is all part of the process and you’ll be okay! Wishing you the best!

Thank you. I'm 32 and have a 9 year old. I haven't gone through this before so this specific event is new for me. Everything is unsure so just taking things day by day, which is a little unnerving to day the least.

Congratulations on this pregnancy! Wishing you the safe and healthy pregnancy and delicery/ baby. Are you having any pregnancy symptoms? I was having symptoms but not so much any more, which is weird because with my daughter , I was chronically fatigued and nauseated 24/7.

I am having some symptoms but nothing too intense yet. Sore boobs and fatigue mostly, but I so far the nausea has been really
mild which I am thankful for!

Any news mama? I am also in the low beta club - 56.5 at 11 days past 5 day transfer. The studies I’ve read aren’t great for under 100 on this testing date, but I’m holding out hope for 2nd beta on Friday.

So much news this has been an absolute roller coaster and apparently my Dr is doing the wait and see option. Below are my recent betas
1/12- 54
1/15- 61
1/18-? 

I still have to go in 3 times per week for betas. Today was test 7. 
My Dr called me Monday to say due to the 1/12 beta drop that its indicative of a miscarriage. So I had to go in for a shot of rhogam, I'm actually RH Negative. I had labs taken again today but didn't hear back so likely in the morning I'll get the call. Dr's said they still won't do an ultrasound,  which is frustrating.  They do have some concerns about possible  ectopic too. Its.very stressful because when my numbers increased I asked again if this is a miscarriage and she said possibly but they don't know for sure but they also aren't doing any other testing so that's where I'm at.

Update my beta HCG from 1/18 - 68
Dr has concerns and schedule an ultrasound for 1/23/24, she suspects a miscarriage.

Kind of on the same boat here.. 

I had my first pregnancy which ended in miscarriage September of last year. 

We found out we are pregnant again earlier this year. Had one day of light spotting and cramping, told my Dr right away and she sent me for some betas.. 
01/17 (5w2d) : 1284 
01/19 (5w4d) : 1491.. 

I haven’t had any more spotting since that day, but I have had some cramping and low back pain.. Dr told me to let her to be aware of any bad cramping or bleeding. And to come see her on Monday, since she was expecting the second beta to be way higher.. guess we’ll wait for Monday !! Just praying and hoping for the best !

I was told by my doctor to go to the ER yesterday afternoon due to my symptoms. I went in and was told I was having a  miscarriage and ovarian cyst
 My beta hcg 62.8

This morning I received an urgent call from my OB office that I have an ectopic pregnancy. So now I had more labs and have to go to an infusion center for methotrexate

@rad2024 They did a scan and unfortunately I’ll have a D&C tomorrow morning.. since is a missed ab. 

They gave me all the options but I decided on that one since I’m afraid of starting bleeding in the middle of work or taking the pills which I’ve heard can also be really bad as well. 

Wishing all of your pregnancies end with babies earthside !!
