First Financial Steps - When and How?

Hello Everyone πŸ‘‹
Here are the burning questions I've got:

When did you first decide to give your child money? Not just small change for candy, but something more substantial. Maybe for a big wishlist item or to start teaching them about saving?

How did you go about it? Did you give them complete freedom to spend as they please, or did you guide them on how to use it, especially if they're under 10?

Any memorable experiences or lessons learned? I'm sure there are some great stories out there about what happens when kids get their hands on their own money for the first time.

I think this is an important part of teaching our kids about value, decision-making, and independence. Can't wait to read your thoughts and experiences!
