How
you found out: this was a rollercoaster as I miscarried last November, then had a positive pregnancy test December 1st. Thankfully this pregnancy has made it through the first trimester and I’m feeling less nauseous, too!
1st appointment date: anxiously awaiting my next ultrasound in a few weeks.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job?
Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I’m engaged to the love of my life, who is bio dad of my second daughter and this baby. We have an older daughter who loves her dad and I’m very grateful for how our family has knit together. I am a teacher in Ontario, Canada and love to be outside.
FTM/STM/TTM+: FourthTM—girl, girl, baby in heaven, and baby in utero 🌈
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally): Recently we found out that our baby is going to be born with some physical differences due to amniotic band syndrome. This has been really hard to process and I’m having a lot of big feelings about it. I’m trying to honour those feelings and ask for support when I need it, not push anything down. I have a hard time doing this, I always feel guilty for what I need. Anyone else?? Thankfully baby herself is healthy and with physio she will be able to regain functionality in her affected limbs. We have had extra ultrasounds to care for the diagnosis and found out early we are having our third girl 🩷🩷🩷
@andrea3o congrats on another girl! Feel free to use us as support! Also, I know when I was really sick I looked into FB groups to see if there were other mamas to relate to. I'd suggest looking there for a support group with others who have been going through a similar situation as you. Hugs mama!
How you found out: At one point when I started working out a lot more at the gym I had a period, one week off and then another period, which was odd. After a few months I accidently didn't go to the gym as often and figured my period was late to even things out or something....then it just kept not happening.
Tell us about yourself: I love to knit and crochet. I even have a blog where I post about all the stuff I make and donate. I like hiking through the woods with my SO. We have a cat named Tank who I love spoiling.
FTM/STM/TTM+: First time!!
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally): So nervous about so many little things because I am currently 40 and doing all of this for the first time. Getting kicked a lot when it's either time to eat or go to bed. Madly in love with my sleep pillow.
