Has anyone told their supervisor yet? My nausea is kicking my butt like never before and I'm starting to wonder how I'm ever gonna make it to Jan when I'm closer to 12 or 13 weeks 😫

The first time I was pregnant I was at a different job and needed to go on bed rest early, so my supervisor got it out of me right away and then I was upset she was pushing me to tell others at work because she couldn't hold it in 🙄

I haven’t yet! I’m thinking about waiting for my contract to renew to say anything since my leave will be the beginning of the new school year.

@sph97 I feel in a similar boat with the timing. The work I do is normally busy season from Memorial Day to Labor Day, with the height of it in June to Aug and looks like I'll be missing most of it 😅

@winterecho I teach Kindergarten and I’m a nervous wreck when I think about missing the first 12 weeks of school! I’ll be coming back in November. The prep alone is stressing me out 😵‍💫

@winterecho I did! They both were gracious to my need for time off during my loss so I told them after my 6 week scan. They'll be more understanding of my need for extra appointments and excess moodiness.

I work as an admin assistant for police so most of them are super protective of women and remember their own wives going through it.
