GTKY: How did you meet your SO?We meet at college and he lived across the hall from me. We were friends for a month then started dating a month later. We've been together for 15 years now

How are you feeling?: Mostly good! I've been feeling the bean since around 17 weeks. Lots of back pain but that's expected between my hypermobility and disintegrating L5
Rants/Raves: Rave for baby movement! The difference between posterior and anterior placentas is insane. I can't imagine if I had had a posterior with my first and anterior this time because I would be panicking (never felt nearly as much, even later on, as I am already with this one).

GTKY: How did you meet your SO? We worked at the same bank! We started dating shortly before he left for law school. Together 4 1/2 years now, married for 2.

How are you feeling?: Pretty much like myself. Been slowly organizing my house one room at a time.
Rants/Raves: We finally got the results from our amniocentesis. Baby boy only got one copy of mine and my husband gene mutation so he is only a carrier like we are! We finally felt comfortable to tell our 3 year old!

Upcoming appointments: Anatomy scan next week. So excited to see this little one again!
How are you feeling?: Pretty good, honestly. My OB office recommended sleep aids, so most of the exhaustion is passed.
Rants/Raves: My hips are starting to really bother me. They did this with my son, but not this early. I'm not looking forward to all of the stretching I'm going to have to do to keep things in check as this kid gets bigger.

GTKY: How did you meet your SO?
We met on retreat in Scotland when we were in college. He arrived late, and I was starting to befriend his group of friends while there, so we started talking through them. Took us several months (and me moving back to the US) to start dating. (I was a bit slow on the uptake...)

Upcoming appointments: January 4th, we had our anatomy scan earlier this week, but he didn’t cooperate well enough to get good pictures of his heart, so we’ll see him next time too!
How are you feeling?: Up and down constantly. Started the morning not feeling the best, but it got better. Then this evening was just emotional.
Rants/Raves: It’s been fun to feel more consistent movement!
Questions: is it supposed to hurt badly in your uterus when you sneeze? I have pretty aggressive sneezes and I’m worried having pain will cause some kind of issue
GTKY: How did you meet your SO? Our pastors/friends set us up and it was clear pretty quickly that we’d get married. We’ve been married for 2 years and together for 3!

How are you feeling?: better overall! I’m the lucky one who broke my rib from coughing and have pneumonia. Both are getting better. I’m still not able to sleep normally. It hurts a lot to lay on that side or on my back so I’m still propped up when I sleep. On the plus side baby girl is kicking more!
Rants/Raves: after weeks of not feeling well… I’m just happy to feel a little closer to normal. I can’t wait to be able to workout again.
Questions: anyone else struggling with body issues? I didn’t feel like this with my first but I was so sedentary this time around from having an early bleed scare, then being sick I just feel so large so fast…
GTKY: How did you meet your SO? In grad school. We were in the same school but not the same program. My roommate dated his friend. They didn’t last long but we did! It will be 10 years together in January. I’ll never forget how cute he was when he asked me out.

How are you feeling?: pretty great! Just some aches and pains, mostly lower back on the left. And recently some heartburn, but otherwise I’m good
Rants/Raves: so happy to be feeling so many kicks! And one of the docs I work with scanned me for laughs and baby A was head down. Still so early but really, really hoping things stay that way so I can have a vaginal delivery!
Questions:
GTKY: How did you meet your SO? We grew up knowing each other but never really crossed paths. We were both at a wedding years later and hit it off!
