    Upcoming appointments: December 14&15 for several including anatomy and cardiologist 

    How are you feeling?: Lots of headaches! They're not worried enough for bp checks yet, usually going away with Tylenol. The rare occasion it doesn't clear up they also have my take magnesium and riboflavin.

    Rants/Raves: Rant for the extra headache that came with a glass Yankee candle lid falling two feet onto my forehead. Rave for baby movement! I had an anterior placenta with my first and this time it's posterior. I thought it would be too early but I felt my girl thumping around from the outside yesterday! I thought it was a fluke but it's happened a few times today.

    Questions:

    GTKY: What are names that you cannot use, for whatever reason? Just the middle name I love, Jo. The implication would be after my husband's grandfather Joseph but his narcissistic, toxic grandmother on the other side would think it's after her.

    Upcoming appointments: Three weeks until anatomy scan!

    How are you feeling?: Exhausted. I'm still not sleeping great (though unisom is helping), I have caught the cold the rest of the family had last week, and Thanksgiving is just it's own exhaustion. 

    Rants/Raves: Baby is moving more and more, and I love it. I'm hoping it'll be noticeable from the outside soon. I tried to have my husband feel last night, and the little stinker stopped kicking.

    GTKY: What are names that you cannot use, for whatever reason?

    We have a whole list, and unfortunately, some of the names we'd love to use are on it. We decided not to use any family names, but that means Catherine, Victoria, and Margaret are all off the girl list, and John and Joseph are off the boy list. We also have too many friends named Daniel, so that one's a no-go, too. Plus, I'm a teacher, so some of them just take on associations that I don't realize until I think about using them. Names are hard...

    How are you feeling?: I’m still getting over pneumonia and this broken rib! I even popped a blood vessel in my eye from coughing. Fortunately I’m better than I was over the weekend… but I miss being active and playing with my toddler. 

    Rants/Raves: All of our plans this week had to be cancelled. Fortunately my mil came to our rescue and is here for a few days. She made us thanksgiving dinner and gave me extra time fo sleep. I feel really fortunate!  I’m so tired of sleeping in a chair but I find it’s easiest on my ribs and breathing right now. 

    Questions:

    GTKY: What are names that you cannot use, for whatever reason? I was a teacher and worked with kids with a lot of behaviors. I have a decent size list of names I cannot use. I know they are popular but I cannot do any name that ends with -ayden! They were always trouble at my previous school! My husband also has a thing about having all the kids share the same first letter in their name. He hates when parents do that. I personally don’t care and I don’t remember that being a big thing where I’m from.  So for us anything that start an “E” is out.

    GTKY: What are names that you cannot use, for whatever reason? Not any particular names but our last name is long so we try to stay with short first names

    How are you feeling?: exhausted, nervous, huge, back pain.
