Trying to Get Pregnant

IF Testing & Treatment w/o Nov 20

**This is a place for those of us who have already started TTC, but have started infertility testing and/or treatments. You can express your thoughts, feelings, and frustrations on infertility. TTC can be a long journey naturally, then add in the difficulties associated with infertility, and it becomes a whole new ballgame. The road to infertility can be lonely, frustrating, and complicated, so let's make this a place where we can vent, ask questions, and support one another. Feel free to resurrect this thread at any point in the week if you have something to say. Treat this as an ongoing conversation.

Diagnosis (if you've been):

Status (TI/ICI/IUI/IVF/FET/benched):

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?):

How are things going?:

Any questions?:

GTKY: What’s your favorite holiday to celebrate, and why?

Re: IF Testing & Treatment w/o Nov 20

  • Diagnosis (if you've been): DOR, ama, APS

Status (TI/ICI/IUI/IVF/FET/benched): TI this month! We’ve been let off the bench!

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): natural cycle and medicated cycle next month.

How are things going?: annoyed. 😒 I took my car to be repaired and they broke it. They were replacing a seat belt and instead gouged the hell out of the plastics and removed (but did not replace) the belt. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ I submitted it to my insurance and they are going to go after the dealer. I thought by taking it to a dealer I’d be protected against this BS.

    Any questions?:

GTKY: What’s your favorite holiday to celebrate, and why? Halloween! It’s such a great sense of community. It’s absolutely one of my favorite parts of living in the center of a small town!

  • @charmedlifex3 I'm sorry, but how can a dealership f*ck up that badly at what they were expected to do?? Dummies! Hurray for being off the bench!!

Diagnosis (if you've been): blood clotting and immune issues

Status (TI/ICI/IUI/IVF/FET/benched): TI shall commence now that AF has left the building

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): we've been green light for 2 cycles and will do repeat bloodwork in about 7 weeks. I don't recall if the repeat bloodwork is needed if I do end up KU. We'll cross that bridge when we get there.

How are things going?: did my first lovenox injection yesterday. It's really nice to not have to draw up the medication into the syringe. I always found that to be a pain with the IVF and FET meds. Lovenox gives a nice burning sensation too so that's fun. The things we do to have children...

Any questions?: Where's the best place to get a sharps container? I have a partially filled one and one unused one that are both fairly small. If I'm going to be on lovenox for months as we TTC and into pregnancy I'm going to probably need a pretty big container. I guess I should check if I can get one for free through insurance

GTKY: What’s your favorite holiday to celebrate, and why? As much as I hate the gift buying aspect of Christmas, I do love the festivities and the gift receiving because things feel very fresh and new getting new things. Oh and this year my brother is not coming to town for Christmas so I won't have wrapping paper thrown at my face for once! Win win

  • Diagnosis (if you've been): PCOS

    Status (TI/ICI/IUI/IVF/FET/benched): IUI and TI

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): going in next week to get an ultrasound so they could look into this cyst or polyp that might be our culprit

How are things going?: work hasn't slowed down but it's been so stressful that I decided to care a little less. I'm doing just above the bare minimum which is so not like me but I've been over worked the past few months so somethings gotta give

    Any questions?:

GTKY: What’s your favorite holiday to celebrate, and why? Thanksgiving because I hate how everybody seems to skip over it. Nov 1 is far too early to dive into the winter holiday season and I want the reprieve of Thanksgiving in the middle. It doesn't have the same pressures or expectations as Christmas but there's still gathering, good food and cool weather

@charmedlifex3 that's awful! I can't believe they screwed up so badly so I hope insurance is on your side

@inthewoods23 where do you get the injections from? Where I got mine they ask if I'd like to add a sharp container for free to my order. Can you check with your pharmacy?
    Me: 28 | Him: 31
    Married: 11/12/16

    Pregnancy Ticker
    Daisypath Anniversary tickers
  • @winterecho these came from the mail order CVS Caremark pharmacy. I've always gotten the sharps container for free when my IVF and FET meds were ordered through the fertility pharmacy.

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): if today's (cd5) labs and ultrasound are normal, I start letrozole for this cycle. It also means I have to be diligent on tracking

How are things going?: good. My period decided to take its time coming so I was in waiting for a week. I started on turkey day and I got a phone call this morning with my appointment. I hated sitting on my ass for a week.

Any questions?: anyone know if Walmarts $7 generics include letrozole?

GTKY: What’s your favorite holiday to celebrate, and why?
Halloween and Easter. It's a literal 50/50 split of my personality. I'm spooky season girl but I love the colors and feel of Easter.
@charmedlifex3 some dealerships are better than other
@inthewoods23 festivities are the best part!
@winterecho I stepped back from overworking myself years ago and I didnt regret it one bit.

At the clinic today a NP greeted a couple with "Happy Transfer Day!" And I wanted to cheer for them and wish them luck but also.... hippa girl.
