Baby is the size of a (an): Apparently weighs as much as a trumpet!
Team blue/pink/green: Pink
Upcoming Appointments: Ultrasound tomorrow- so excited to see her again, and hopefully will be getting EFW and length tomorrow as well!
How are you feeling?: Ugh. 3rd Trimester hit and I just like that, I started feeling rough. Tired, achy hips, can't stay on my feet for more than a few hours without them killing me. It's getting real! Just need to keep myself motivated to exercise as I know that will help dramatically. But so excited at the same time to be almost 10 weeks away from meeting Baby! Time is flying by.
Rants/Raves: Rant (above). Raves- I've met the most amazing group of Mamas-to-be at my weekly yoga class and I am so thankful for the support and the friendships I've been making! Can't wait till all our little ones get here.
Questions: When is everyone having their baby shower (if you are!) ? Mine's not till the first week of December and I'm afraid I'm gonna be so low energy by then
Baby is the size of a (an): zucchini, or handprint the size of a toilet paper tube
Team blue/pink/green: blue
Upcoming Appointments: this morning!
How are you feeling?: There’s been ups and downs. I have developed pseudo carpal tunnel in both my hands and arms so it’s making my life a little miserable with pain. I work with my hands so it’s unpleasant. Otherwise baby boy loves to do his main kicking at bed time for us and it’s a lot of fun
Rants/Raves: I keep getting asked by family members for more pictures of the baby haha. It doesn’t seem like we get to do them often!
Also, why do babies come with so much stuff?
I’ve been trying to keep active but my partner just tore and is healing from a torn ligament in the foot so I’ve been primary driving us both to and from work, and unfortunately we haven’t been able to go out and do our usual hikes with dogs and such because I feel bad leaving them at home! Working on my feet all day doesn’t count as exercise unfortunately.
We just had our shower this past weekend (to be ahead of the snow and crummy weather up here) and wow. So many little things really add up! I think you’ll be too excited during your shower to be tired! But I will say I was exhausted after ours, and we decided to wait a day or two before looking through and sorting into laundry, toys, etc.
Just had my baby shower last weekend (just before 26 weeks) planned it early because of family out of town driving in and didn't want them to drive in winter. It was exhausting and we had family from out of town staying with us so we also had been entertaining and had to continue to be.
@kvothe2024 Our girl does a lot of kicking right before bedtime as well- but hasn't woken me up yet *fingers crossed"! Hoping the adrenaline and excitement will kick in at the shower, but maybe I should be planning to take that following Monday off just to recover lol.... I feel you on trying to stay active, our weather here in AZ just got nice enough to exercise outside but now my energy is so low I don't want to go out!
@moehands2022 We have the exact opposite problem here with visitors! Winter is the only time people want to visit Arizona! lol
