2nd Embryo Transfer

Hello,
I’m on day 5 of my embryo transfer as of 2 pm today. I’ve had some pelvic discomfort, no spotting. But I took a urine preg test today on a day 6 embryo. It was negative. I think I took to early, but still it’s very depressing cause I had a miscarriage the last time.

Re: 2nd Embryo Transfer

  • Hi, we don’t do one-off posts like this here. If you want to be a part of the community, please read the newbie guide pinned at the top of the board and then join in on our weekly threads. There is a thread for those of us going through IF treatment and testing, so that would be a good spot to talk about this.

As for your negative test today, I’m sure your doctor told you how long you should wait to test. I’d suggest following their instructions.
  • Thank you for the information. I apologize I didn’t read the guide book. However, there is no reason to be excessively rude and behave like a Karen. Thanks!

  • What was "excessively rude"?

@britters314 is correct that your doctor should have provided instructions on when to test at home or when to come in to have a blood test done. Usually 5dpt is the earliest you could expect to turn a positive test as it equates to being about 10dpo in a regular cycle. You can always test again in a day or two.

  • Well I guess I’m done trying to nicely ask people to actually join our board.

  • *Lurking* As someone who was part of this board for about 6 months and still pops in to check to see how people are doing, I don't think @britters314 was rude at all.  It's a more sensitive board than some of the others since a lot of us struggled with TTC and there are specific threads to ask questions like this or share stories that may need a trigger warning (like the IF treatment and testing thread she suggested).
