Hi. I am just over 12 weeks and was told today that there is 1 in 64 chance of downs. Has anyone had this? What was your experience? I had opted for additional testing. Just worried sick. How do they come up with that figure? Is age and weight included or is it purely based on bloods? Thank you x

It can be based off a few things depending on what tests you’ve received. I would call back and ask exactly what they’re referencing so you know instead of wondering. Most of the time it’s a combination of blood work, age, risk factors, and ultrasound findings
