Connection

I just wanted to take a minute to talk about something that I feel like is not talked about enough. Or at least something I was never told when everyone and their mother wants to tell you about how to feel and what to expect when pregnant. Everyone tells me the connection you feel with this little human is like not other. Yes I totally agree. First pregnancy for me, 28 weeks, love being pregnant. 

But can we talk about the totally different connection you form with your husband/baby daddy/significant other? 

My husband and I have been married for just over a year, everyone always says yeah it’s because your in the honeymoon stage. Honey, we have been together since we were 14 and 15 years old. We are now 28 and 29 years old. The honeymoon stage was short lived after marriage for us because we have been together for so long. Not in a bad way, we have a great relationship, some say we are “those” people, you know the couple that some of our younger or more fresh relationship friends look up to. 

But the different connection we’ve had, the whole other level…….. I can’t explain.
