bhCG Tripled in 48 hours

Hi everyone,

This is my first pregnancy and I’m a little anxious. I’m 34 (turning 35 this month). My hcg levels are as follows:
10 DPO: 6
11 DPO: 24
14 DPO: 210
16 DPO: 900
18 DPO: 1300
20 DPO: 3500

I’m a little worried that I’m over range for normal hcg levels. I’m almost tripling every 48 hours. Did anyone else have levels similar to this?

Any insight is greatly appreciated. Thanks :)

20 DPO puts me at about 5 weeks. But I haven’t had a dating ultrasound. I do know the day I ovulated though (Sept 18), so extrapolating from that

Aug 17th. I have very long irregular cycles. Have only had two since having my IUD removed in early June. We did not have sex (protected or unprotected) between my last period and Sept 18.

We had an ultrasound on Monday to rule out an ectopic (+++ cramping no bleeding). Hcg was 30,000 and saw a little flicker of a heartbeat. Still to early to do any measurements or dating though. I’m a Type 1 diabetic, so I have to concentrate on keeping tight control. Fingers crossed this little guy sticks around!! But even if he doesn’t, it at least means we can get pregnant

@sandiedm any updates? I had an embryo transfer on oct 23rd and am seeing tripling figures every 2 days (sometimes quadrupling) and wondering if it’s a sign of twins. Only transferred 1 embryo but it could be identical twins.

One little 3.5cm 10 week gummy bear baby in there today. Heart rate of 163. All good news.
