  • My left pinky is feeling tingly this morning. There’s no wayyyyy carpal tunnel can start this early 😅 lol probably slept on it weird. Last time in third tri i’d wake up with numbness and trigger finger. Fun!

  • Does anyone else feel like they are starving when you're just a little hungry? I don't think I'm eating more... but it feels much more urgent when I need food. Going to have to watch this one and make sure I don't develop unhealthy habits.

    Yes! The extreme hunger for me was mostly a 1st tri thing and then it levels out a bit. However in 3rd tri I could eat so much more than I normally do. Like 2 bowls of cereal and full lunch & dinner lol 
  • Starving but feel sick when I eat a meal, my nipples hurt so bad when my son nurses, and I am SO FREAKING TIRED. Like having trouble staying awake at work. Fun times 😭😂
  • Yes to feeling like I’m starving at the slightest hunger pang. For me, eating light and frequent meals, with good protein, is key to keeping from getting either the hunger nausea or the too-full nausea.

    Getting bad gag reflex when I'm eating something that I don't like the taste of... Sucks because I know I'm going to be hungry if I don't try to eat more, but I literally can not force myself to eat whatever it is once it starts.

    Yes! I'm if I'm hungry I'm starving. I used to eat 2 maybe 3 meals a day, but I think now I need to adjust to smaller and incorporate snacks. When I eat full meal I was feeling stuffed after.
  • @stress_engine it’s horrible when you have a plate of food in front of you but can’t get yourself to eat it. Happens to me most days! Luckily it mostly stopped once I hit the second tri last time so I’m hoping it’s the same this time. My nausea is starting to break so I’m fx we’re turning a corner! 

    AFM some symptoms as of late:
    boobs hurt when I wake up/when they’ve been in a bra for a while
    TMI extra discharge (ew)
    Feeling more intense emotions 
    Lost 10ish lbs (not drinking my high cal large iced lattes every morning lol) 
    MOTN insomnia & pee break
    food aversions (mostly meat but can eat shredded meat + steak occasionally)
    random bouts of starvation
    horrible skin (I had beautiful skin with my son so this is making me sad haha)
    Exhaustion - I could sleep 12 hours and then still want a nap! 
  • My nausea subsided last week but now I’m experiencing more indigestion, bloating and cramping after meals…?

    And the hardest symptom right now is depression and irritability. It could be fatigue or stress, but I find myself struggling to enjoy things or feel cheery about life or the world. My poor boyfriend is living with a very cold, distant and grumpy woman. I struggle to show any affection or interest in his day. I also feel pretty isolated from friends as I am exhausted and have this big thing going on in my life that I’m not talking about yet.

    I have a therapist and other supports, and I know rationally it is likely hormones but it’s been very not fun. I wish I was happy and excited like I thought I would be!!
  • I’ve been having annoying body aches at night. Feels like my joints hurt especially my hips/legs and back. This is going to be a long 28 more weeks if I’m feeling it already! 
  • totally understand the irritability - sometimes I feel like a true 👹 LOL. Give yourself some grace - our bodies and minds are doing HUGE things to get our babies earthside.
