Anyone else having a big baby? I had my 36 week sono yesterday and my baby is in the 97th percentile for weight and head circumference. She is estimated to be weighing 7 lbs 6 oz already. I’m scared to deliver a big baby!

Late term ultrasounds are pretty notoriously inaccurate since they can’t measure as precisely bc baby doesn’t all fit in one screen. A big baby alone is not a good reason to induce early or jump to a C-section. Talk with your doctor about what to expect.

An ultrasound can be +/- 2lbs for a baby in a late ultrasound.

A big baby is a scary thought, but our bodies can do amazing things! My partner is 6'7" so I know I'm in for a wild ride too.
